McDonald’s Drink Sizes in Ounces

McDonald’s US fountain drinks come in Small (16 oz), Medium (21 oz) and Large (30 oz), plus a 12 oz Extra Small for kids. Ice takes up part of each cup, so ordering “no ice” gets you more drink.

McDonald’s Frozen Drinks

McDonald’s frozen drinks are slushy versions of fountain flavors: Frozen Coca-Cola Classic, Frozen Fanta Blue Raspberry and Frozen Hawaiian Punch. A Small has just 60 to 90 calories.

Why Does Coke Taste Better at McDonald’s?

McDonald’s says its Coca-Cola tastes different because of how it’s handled: the syrup arrives in stainless steel tanks instead of plastic bags, the water is filtered and chilled before mixing, and the syrup ratio allows for melting ice.

  • Stainless steel tanks keep the syrup fresh and protect it from light and air.
  • Pre-chilled water and syrup help the drink hold more carbonation.
  • A slightly wider straw lets more flavor reach your taste buds at once.
