Reduced-Sugar Refreshers and Sodas
Since August 17, 2026, McDonald’s offers reduced-sugar versions of its crafted sodas made with Diet Coke, Coke Zero Sugar, Diet Dr Pepper, Dr Pepper Zero Sugar or Sprite Zero Sugar where available, and a Red Bull Zero version of the Energizer.
| Reduced-sugar option | Calories | Sugars | vs regular |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reduced Sugar Vanilla Swirl with Diet Coke (Small) | 150 | 23 g | 110 fewer calories than with Coca-Cola |
| Reduced Sugar Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer (Medium) | 100 | 24 g | Same 80 mg caffeine, half the calories |
The cold foam and flavor syrup still add sugar, so “reduced sugar” isn’t zero sugar. The Refreshers don’t have a reduced-sugar version yet.
